Dan Clark has been involved in the
financial services industry since the 1970s. His coaching tendencies began
to show in the sixties when a friend in the service had money troubles and
turned to Dan for guidance.
When serving as a credit union CEO, the strategy of
his and other credit unions shared strong desires to educate their members
and local consumers. A group of them formed the Credit Union Partnership for
Informed Consumers. The Partnership sponsored public seminars, and a weekly talk radio show
that focused on personal
money management. As the show's most frequent host, he interviewed financial
planners, insurance professionals, investment advisors, and authors of books
on personal money management
topics.
There's a national movement for financial literacy on in the 21st
century. By necessity, financial literacy must lead to increased savings in
order to help save the American middle-class, the backbone of the U.S.
consumption-driven economy. Dan believes that now is the time that
people who live paycheck-to-paycheck are becoming aware of the value of
personal coaching
as a way to get to the root of their beliefs and attitudes about money and
wealth, so
they can make needed changes and begin building wealth.
Dan's focus is to educate consumers to the value of coaching in reaching
their financial goals. In addition, he focuses on educating and coaching
professional coaches to meet this emerging demand. |
